Summers finally here! The UK has blessed us with blue skies and scorching temperatures and The Closet Queen has blessed all you lovely ladies with the perfect outfits for your summer wardrobe. We know not everyone likes to wear dresses so we've got a lovely selection of tops perfect for this warm weather - Maria Blouses in animal print, we love it! The Petunia Tunic Pebble Print is a gorgeous bardot top (of course it can also be worn on the shoulder to create a square neckline) with a lovely print perfect for the summer time. It's made from a lightweight, breathable fabric with a lovely tiered design and floaty bell sleeves to keep you cool. Perfect paired with shorts or jeans and for £26 it's a real bargain. 

This week we've added some new items to our Royal Range. These items are made from a much higher quality fabric and are unique, one off items that we get in very limited stock - so in other words if you want something, you better be quick! Although we love colour here at The Closet Queen, we appreciate not everyone does. A monochrome outfit accessorized with bright heels and a handbag can make a gorgeous summer look. The Mono Stripe Dress By I.D fits sizes 14 to 20 and is £46 - trust me the quality is amazing and it's definitely a timeless piece you'll re-wear year after year. We've paired ours with an orange Kimmy Loop Bag and matching shoes.

We love a co-ord here at The Closet Queen, they're the perfect outfit for when you don't know what to wear - it's already made for you! We've got a selection of both shorts and trouser co-ords depending on what style you like. New in this week is the Wiggle Trim Short Set and it's one of my favourites! We've dressed ours up with heels and an envelope clutch but alternatively the shirt could be worn open over your swimwear, it really is a versatile set that you can mix and match to create different outfits and it's only £30! 

As always we've got a brand new selection of gorgeous summer dresses, but I want to talk to you about the Trace Denim Effect Dress. It's £28 and fits sizes 14 to 22 approximately. Denim dresses come back around every season and it's a trend I always welcome - they're so easy to style and you always look put together, even if you've not really tried! This one finishes at a flattering midi length and can be dressed up with heels, or dressed down with sandals or trainers. It's definitely one you should have in your staple summer wardrobe! 

If you've got an occasion coming up we've got a fantastic range of occasion wear, perfect for weddings, christenings and the races. Of course we do occasion wear on a budget - the Julia Dress is only £34 and is available in three gorgeous colours. It's such a flattering shape for ladies size 16 to 24, due to the adjustable tie waist and frill detailing; pair with our famous Kimmy Loop Bag and heels.
