Hi I'm Claire, The Closet Queen's Founder. I'm a curvy size 20 and always struggled to find flattering clothing that didn't make me feel uncomfortable, old fashioned or boring! 

After years of unsuccessful shopping trips I decided instead of getting down about it, it was time to do something about it! Now yes you probably think what did you do, go on a diet ?.... Well if it was that easy I would have done that years ago! 

Instead I embraced my plus size curves and used my sales and marketing experience as well as my flair for fashion and The Closet Queen was born! 

From a small under the stairs cupboard my business rapidly grew due to hard work and dedication of myself and my, then, very small team to an amazing store in Barnsley town centre and of course our fantastic online store.

I understand all us ladies have insecurities whatever our size small or curvy, along with my genuine desire to help people and make people feel good and inspired this is where our amazing personal shopping experience comes in to play!
